| Arenosa Ponies The term "Arenosa Pony" can be very confusing to people who are not familiar with them. Most Arenosa ponies are registered ASPC Classic and/or Foundation. Arenosa refers to a bloodline bred by the late Audrey Barrett. There are still some 100 percent Arenosa ponies out there but they are very hard to find. Audrey Barrett was known as THE best breeder of American Shetland Ponies and her legacy still lives on today. These ponies are especially known for their beautiful heads.
